Wohaib Hasan is Director, Sample Management and Biobank at Takeda, a role held since January 2024, having joined in 2020 as Associate Director, Biorepository. Previously, he was Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Biobank at Cedars-Sinai, and held research faculty roles at Oregon Health and Science University and the University of Kansas Medical Center.

- Maintaining consistent plasma collection and processing across every serial timepoint, so that quality does not drift between sites, visits or countries
- Coordinating global logistics and long-term biobanking so that longitudinal sample series stay complete, traceable and fit for retrospective ctDNA analysis
- Applying lessons from studies such as IMVIGOR-11, where serial sample operations underpinned the MRD readout, to growing pharma investment in MRD-guided development
