Dr. Daniel Kim is an Assistant Professor at the University of California Santa Cruz, an Associate Member of the Stanford Canary Center, and a Research Scholar of the American Cancer Society. He is also Co-Chair of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Liquid Biopsy Scientific Interest Group and Co-Chair of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) RNA Task Force. His laboratory develops RNA liquid biopsy technology for precision oncology and cancer early detection. His research has been featured in Newsweek, Scientific American, and by the Director of the National Institutes of Health and has been recognized by awards from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation and the National Academy of Sciences.
